Earrings Native American Turquoise Jet Santo Domingo Hoop

These double-loop heishi earrings are made by Santo Domingo Pueblo artist, Ramona Bird. The hue of the finely cut turquoise beads have a wonderfully delicate pale-blue / pale-green translucence about them. They possess a lovely quality about them which reminds me of the color thick and cavernous ice takes on, as seen in the crevasses at the Poles, or within glaciers off set with the deep black jet. Finished with sterling silver cones, these earrings are quite lovely.
