Each one of these ever-so-slightly graduated turquoise beads is handcrafted by Juanita Atencio, of Santo Domingo Pueblo. The color of each of these 28! beads is a brilliant blue with a trace of matrix, and although round, imperfectly so, giving it the authenticity of being entirely handmade. This is Juanita's signature specialty, and owning one of her handcrafted pieces is, indeed, owning a true, heirloom-quality piece of jewelry.
