Blue Tiger Eye w/ Number 8 Turquoise Choker

This choker-style necklace is made using rarely seen blue tiger eye bone-shaped beads with Number 8 American turquoise rounds as spacers. The blue tiger eye possesses that same unearthly translucence as the more common brown/red species, but with wisps of electric blue which flicker against the light. Turquoise from the Number 8 mine hasn't been mined since the mid-1970s, and its characteristic spiderweb matrix and brilliant blue color makes this turquoise highly desirable. The matching of these two stones to create a unique look, seemed a perfect fit. Finished with a sterling silver lobster-claw clasp. Made in USA, here at the TQM studios.
