A richly colorful set of earrings, these are Navajo Indian made using purple spiney oyster shell and an inlay of mother of pearl  as a base. The backs of these earrings are the reverse side of the spiney oyster shell, as naturally occurring. The mother of pearl has been cut into the front side, and inlaid. Finished with a sterling silver bead and French wire. Native American made.
