Southwest Jewelry Kingman Turquoise Parrot Necklace

# BGH-2

Hand-carved in the Great American Southwest, we have acquired a few very attractive pieces, using genuine gemstones, coral and sterling silver. They are eye-catching, fun to wear and quite lovely! Each jewelry piece is unique, having its own variations and character. They are made by craftsmen of the American southwest, but not necessarily of Native American Indian descent. Featured here is a necklace of parrots (graduating in size) using dyed purple Kingman turquoise, with red coral and mohave green turquoise channels on each wing. The eyes have been drilled and the beaks are of (black) jet. The necklace has been strung using fine dyed Kingman heishi beads, sprinkled with a few blues, and finished with sterling silver cones and clasp. This is a stunningly beautiful jewelry piece. Enjoy.
